Wine Gift Wrap

Give the gift of wine wrapped in polka dot paper. This easy to do project can make any bottle of wine look to pretty to unwrap.

Materials: hole punch or cut outs, various colors of paper, wax paper or tissue paper, ribbon, clear tape, scissors, and glue (optional).

wine gift materials

Step One: Take your wax paper or tissue paper and tear two 14” pieces off.

Step Two: Hole punch various colors of paper or you can use cut outs and confetti (I used a hole punch). Hole punch about 15-20 circles.

Step Three: Take one of the wax papers and lay it down flat. Take your circles that you have hole punched and lay them all over the wax paper. Note: I used a little dab of glue to make sure my circles did not slide around, this is optional).

Step Four: Grab your second sheet of wax paper and lay it on top of the circles. Your cut outs/circles should be sandwiched between the two pieces of wax paper.

Step Five: Lay down your wine bottle at one end of the wax paper. Tightly roll up the wine bottle.

Step Six: Use clear tape to hold the wax paper in place.

Step Seven: Stand up the wine bottle, and tie a ribbon at the top with a tag and give it as a gift.

Homemade Lip Balm

These lip balms make a great gift or stocking stuffer. It’s all natural ingredients and smells amazing. Just follow the easy step-by-step instructions below.

Materials: 1 teaspoon almond oil, 1 teaspoon cocoa butter, 1 teaspoon shea butter, 1 vitamin E capsule, 8 drops of grapefruit oil (or other oil of your choice), pot with boiling water, coffee cup, teaspoon for mixing, and lip balm tins (found at craft stores).

Note: Makes enough for about a 1/2 oz tin.

Step One: I added all of my ingredients to my coffee cup.

Step Two: I took a small pot and boiled some water.

Step Three: Once the water began boiling, I set the coffee cup inside of the pot. This causes the ingredients in the cup to become hot and melt.
