Decorative Containers

Here’s a colorful way of storing pens and pencils. These containers can be used to store any and all desk accessories. These fun and festive colors will add style and color to any desk and office.

Materials: Cans, tins, coffee containers, etc.(These containers may vary depending on how small or large you would like your container), paper with designs or patters, glue, scissors, and embellishments.

Step One: Wash out the container that you plan on using.

Step Two: Peel off the paper that was on the container so it is bare.

Step Three: Measure the paper by holding it up to the container. Tip: I usually mark the paper with a pen so that I know where to make my cut.

Step Four: Cut the paper with scissors or paper cutter.

Step Five: Put glue in the corners of the paper first so that the corners will be secure. Continue to add small amounts of glue to the paper as you adhere it to the container.

Step Six: If you wish, you may add embellishments to dress it up.

It truly is the easiest craft that will brighten anyone’s day no matter what the occasion. Follow these simple steps to one very cool cup!

Materials: A polycarbonate cup, usually sold with outside dishware or in the patio section. This cup looks like a glass, but is made out of a very hard plastic. All the beauty without the worry of breaking. You will also need embellishments such as stickers, ribbon, and adhesive gems.

Step One: Wash the cup so that it is clean for the recipient. :)

Step Two: Begin adding your stickers, gems, and other embellishments in random places on the cup. I made a design on the stem of the glass with gems. If you’re into a sport, use a sticker relevant. A boxing glove, baseball bat, football, etc.

Step Three: Tie a ribbon at the bottom/stem of the glass.
